Dos Puentes is a zoned community elementary school in District 6 of Manhattan. This means that children who live in our zone or district are given preference. Please check the NYC Department of Education website to see if you are zoned for Dos Puentes.

After zoned seats are allocated, additional seats are given to other District 6 students, as dictated by the Department of Education Admissions policy. Dos Puentes shares our building with PS 132, which is also a zoned community elementary school.

    Application Process

    Applying for Kindergarten: Please follow the NYC Department of Education Kindergarten application process. You can find it by clicking here.

    Applying for Upper Grades: Please call our school office at (212) 781-1803 to see if we have space for new students for a particular grade. New students third grade and above must have some knowledge of Spanish.

    Registration

    If you have been accepted through the Kindergarten admissions process and you wish to register your child at Dos Puentes, please call our office to make an appointment. Your child must be present during the registration process.
